Or use the Enders or BDSalem clients, they create a maps folder with a subfolder named after your server.

There are three servers currently. The original server, Plymouth, has the city of Boston. For the newer servers, the server name and the city name are the same (so you start out in Jamestown if you are on the Jamestown server); I assume this will be true of future servers as well.
