I just wish to know what the slot beside torso is for. I tried to use my Priestly robes, Jute vest, and my....*cough* shell bikini *cough* but none of them worked.

That's a slot for armor. Later you can make steel armor that can be placed there. You can also place a priestly stole in that slot. There's also a legacy Plymouth rock armor and vest that can be placed there. There was also a Golden armor given away last winter to people who spent the most that quarter. Armor doesn't provide anything but a bit more thermal points and more slots.
