If I put someone in the stocks today, can I gather more evidence from the same crime and put them back in tomorrow?

Yes, but the criminal will have a 24 hour window where he will not be summonable after he got released. So you basicly can only stock every two days in general. You can recollect the same scents again, as you asked. This will work untill the scents expire, which depends on the type of crime.

but TBC many times can too

so when you have enemy and enemy know where is scents + evidence... you can say "Sayonara"

Good points.

The whole crime system is a mess. This is supposed to be a game about pvp & crafting.
As soon as you get into pvp by either raiding, fighting or killing, you will get insta-killed by your opponent. Ofcourse it goes both ways, but this just forces us to make use of alts, and honestly that is just plain stupid.

Why not encourage people to use their strong characters instead? But no, let's just keep it carebear instead up in here, because that is where the money is.
