Pistols vs. Rifles?

I know guns are good, but whats the difference between pistols & rifles? and how do you best use them in combat?

Pistols shoot much quicker but deal less damage.

You need firearms, some gunpowder and ammo. Fill the gun up with gunpowder, then with ammo and then you can do the shooting. Its usually not super practical.

If you land a stomp you have the time to shoot them.
If you land a bullrun you have the time to shoot them and reload at least the gunpowder if not the musket ball aswell. (Depends on pistol/rifle shot)
