I'm intending to build two Townhouses back to back and I have no clue what the colision box is gonna be. How close can I put them?

why don't you just test ? as far as I remember, their hitbox is slightly larger than their graphics, but only at the back/front. The sides are relatively clear.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
