How do I the bees?

The bees. Do they the flower need? For stuff, I do not get from them, today.

They don't need flowers, nor trees.
They will produce honey no matter where the skep is placed.
Just make sure there is a queen inside with at least 4 drones.
And don't check on the skep too often - it disturbes the bees and makes them stop production for a short time

You need to have one and only one queen at the skep or the second one will kill all other bees. So it's best to check 1 time per day every day

I had 2 drones in the skep the entire time according to the wiki and it didn't work.

I've always place a queen immediately followed by five drones, and it's never failed.

If you pick daisies in the marshland biome (http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Marshland) you can get a lot of bees, because daises are absolutely everywhere and they count as Any Flower. Picking milkweed root is also pretty effective. Alternatively, someone might be willing to give you some.

you need at least 4-5 drones aside from the queen for the skep to work!

also note, that the honey bar will be full long before the skep has his max population of bees at 60k
the more bees the skep has the faster blooming fruit trees will bear fruits

I've actually had it fail with queen + 6 drones right after insisting that 6 drones was plenty to someone else on the forums xD So if you're really paranoid use 7, but yeah even 4-5 -should- be ok.

It may fail because the drones have limited lifetime. If you caught them a few days before inserting them into skep then they might die inside before producing more drones.
