Snakes attack rabbits on their own.
Doesn't happen with other animals, UNLESS a bear roars nearby other animals. Then this roar will aggro those animals (most often deer).

Actually it does..... One time a cricket tryed to attack me and instead attacked another cricket by mistake.

They started a fight to the death and I killed the winner getting me two crickets at the end xD.

But yea, as Procne said, only snakes attacks by themselfs rabbits. Others animals only attack when attacked by something.

My best one was leading a dancing beaver through a bunch of crickets. Got two dead crickets and an easily dispatched beaver (my second beaver fight before I had my sword).

I find free food thanks to bears all the time. At least once a day when I do my forage runs I find knocked out turkeys, dead rabbits, and dead crickets. I had a bear kill a deer right outside of my fence one day. I have also had a deer kill a bear near my place. Those are always welcome gifts! :D

One time we had a bear wander on our claim before we got a fence up, so we ported to town for awhile. When we came back, there was a dead deer on the property. The bear just wanted to be friends, clearly.
