not sure how it works then
but i'm getting different amount of bars with same 13/12 so there has to be some rng or a "spillover" eg. buildup
either way, it would effect any testing on little lime

not anymore it doesn't - I thought that was changed a while back when JC reworked the mining industry.

Orly, that's good to know... Thought it was super peculiar how the first load could be more than any other load but guess it's just all rng. Could have sworn there was a pattern to how often it resulted in 3 bars rather than 2 (eg, every 4 or 5 which implied a 20-25% spillover) but maybe that was just happenstance.

Well I decided to take the plunge for the knowledge of others. I did 10 lime 1 little limestone and 14 silver ore. I received 5 silver bars. I will be doing another 11 lime 14 silver later and see if there was any spill over on the amounts.

Did you notice any spillover? Thanks for sharing your little lime findings ^_^

I got 3 silver bars on second burn with no alloying set.

The fact is I am sure spillover still exists. With me doing 14 ore 11 lime and no alloying set I get 1 bar on the first burn of a fresh smelter. Second burn is always 2. On about 3rd or 4th burn I get 3 from there on it alternates from two to three bars every other burn on rare occasions I get 2 back-to-back but it is too rare to quantify. That indicates there is a spill over of some kind.

This does seem to be the case, indeed.

Thank you for investigating Jakhollin :D

at least purity spills over!
purity of the ore from the last run affects the first bar of the current one
