Really? A newb question, in the newb section about a subject that's not documented properly anywhere I can find annoyed you. I clearly stated I can't get on the game to test for myself.
If it bothers you that much don't bother responding with narky comments and leave the answering to other members of the forum who don't feel inclined to pull people down.

And if you are going to state how simple this is, don't post answers that are trash in themselves.
A) the Master key is a MASTER key. It only opens locks attuned to locks attuned to that Key or the copies of it.

IMO -- In this case make a new master key (Fresh one) and attune a bunch of locks to it, then go around and replace all of the old locks, verify that the new key works on everything, and discard the other keys. It will save you headache in the future (Hopefully)

Thanks all, I'm going to replace the second lock I created to fit the same key as the first lock I created. It's all just clicked now thanks.
