That sounds more like H&H than Salem. Unless something has changed recently, you start your new character from scratch.

I think what you are reading about is maybe something from the H&H days. I heard that the skill regeneration was accelerated or something for the deceased, but then again dying was easier in that game I'm told. In this case you are starting from scratch to get your skills back.

Really no idea or nothing you can share on how you were killed?
