The uses of a scalp

Postby saltmummy » Fri Dec 11, 2015 9:13 am

I'm starting this thread for the benefit of flame, who seems intent on not listening to me when I tell him that his scalp is useless.
Some background, awhile back flame (yes, the artist) had the light of justice brought down on him for the crime of theft and vandalism. He was raiding what he thought were unpaid claims etc. etc. Now, someone from these forums has recently sent him a PM claiming that he has flames scalp, and will give it back in exchange for one haven subscription coin. After I told him the scalp was useless, he foolishly decided to ask the guy trying to ransom the scalp about it instead of telling him ****** off, and was told that if he ate the scalp, he would get his stats back.

Now, correct me if I am wrong on the following points;
A players scalp can be turned into puggles to register its scalp score
If the player whom the scalp belonged too had "the story of cain and abel," puggles will give you 150 silver for it
If a player scalps you, you get less of your proficiencies back from inheritance.
The last three points are all that scalps are for, apart from trophy hunting.

Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum. I also apologize for posting this in his stead, but flame has a habit of completely ignoring the sound advice I give him and I know he probably won't ask on his own. (actually he did, but it was in the "is this server too old" thread, but it was completely off topic and went ignored) I want to get a definitive answer from anybody on the forums because I know he isn't going to listen to his friends.

untrue, the 150s is the amount of cash YOU need to pay puggles so he kills you
if you turn in a scalp that had murder you get a 2.50$ shop certificate.

How do you leave scents looting abandoned claims? You mean he broke unpaid pclaim stones and then looted them?

Yeah that's what I meant, at the time we just referred to them as the same thing. It's a hold over from when we used to play haven. Changed the OP to say unpaid claims instead of abandoned.

Ops, i'm sorry Bro for have confused you. I wasn't going to take the scalp of a mess-up character like my first was. (and even so, i would never waste my few last moneys like this).
What i was doing was just see what he was planning to say "trick" me, and see how far he would have gone, taking it like a funny chance to observe someone attempt to swindle me.
My bad, you gave me advice and i didn't had the mind to inform you about my intentions.
Forgive my superficiality!

At the same time, i really appreciate your initiative, that's something important from you.
Thanks, my good friend. ;)
