What do you need to climb the mountain? And a spawn question

I am talking about the large mountains, that are present both at Roanoke and Plymouth (and most likely at Jamestown aswell). At the Plymouth map, I saw that someone managed to explore it. So it is possible to climb. So, what do I need?
1) Rope? (guess that's obvious) I have no idea how high ridges can you climb with a rope.
2) Skills?
3) Humours? (To not die if I fall? To not get stuck? Assuming I can bring enough food)
Also, do you get knocked or die if your blood drops to 0 when you fall?

Bonus question. Where do newbie leantos spawn? Can they spawn at darkness (non-humour draining)? Can they spawn at the mountains (so I can get to the mountains if Im extremely lucky)?

Yeah, you need a rope, and several climbing skills, as well as phlegm to climb and blood if you want to survive a fall. If you fall, you will KO.

I have never used the spawn function, but I think it's just random, and very much doubt that it would put you in the darkness at all, though you may end up close to it. There have been people who were spawned on mountains which they could not climb up or down, so I would say you'd be more unlucky than lucky to get spawned there.

I get it, but what exactly skills and how much humours? Trying to find a good place at Roanoke, but everything that's any good is already taken, hopefully mountains are not :]

I wouldn't say I'm unlucky if I would've spawned at something like -108.32 at Plymouth.

something like 50 in Mines & Mountains would also be good. I think you need the skill Mountaineering at least. Use 'Slow & Steady' climbing mode.

If I use "Slow and Steady", why do I need the Mountaineering, if it just provides me a new climbing mode?
And, are there any formulas for the fall damage? Can't find anything about it.

Where can I find maps for each city? And with coordinates..?
I have hill climbing and am working to get waeving for making a rope, hoping to be able to climb some mountains!
