Another noob mining question

Postby Squeekermouse » Sun Oct 18, 2015 6:57 pm

When I made my mine shaft, the node said it was a copper mine. I have mined outward from my stairs 3 full circuits and have only seen one copper ore spawn and have already had to install 2 supports due to cave-in. Is it just RNG?

Nodes don't mean ore type anymore. John needs to change the graphic back, but there are so many other things to do, and I think we'd need to draw a whole new one. You'll find copper, iron, and silver in your mine regardless if what node you build it on. I suggest digging in straight lines with a half dozen spaces between for the best chance of finding ore groups. Much like the Pinwheel method of mining in Minecraft.
