Can't drop log

Heya

Chopped a tree for logs and made my inventory full. One log is attached to the mousecursor. Neither rightclick or leftclick on the ground works. I tried it exactly where I stand and next to my character. Relog didn't work. Can't walk. Can switch the log with other stuff from my inventory, but can't drop that as well.

Ideas?

Nevermind. Seems like pressing left mousebutton and moving the mousecursor on approx. 5 or 6 tiles away worked. This feels strange oO

If you try to drop the log too close to you, such that you'd end up inside the log's hitbox, the game won't let you drop it.
