Power Of The Pocketwatch?

Postby MaxPlanck » Wed Oct 07, 2015 3:00 am

Does a tiny pocketwatch obtained from a Rabbit still give boosts to speed during combat and if so,

how does one activate the speed boost? Same question as to the cancellation of ensnare abilites.

About the activation, just right-click the watch and then select the option "I'm late".

There is only the study option, I had already checked if that was a way to activate it but nope. I've also tried equipping it in equipment by unequipping everything and shift clicking it and thats not possible either.

If you're using a custom client, you might have 'study protection' turned on. You'll have to turn it off and risk splitting your singing old logs and such if you want to use pocketwatches.

Another fun fact. You do require the skill "Fast Moves" to use a pocket watch.

Oh? ... Thanks for the info! I happen to not know fast moves yet; looks like that's the next thing I'll be learning.
One last tidbit since I can't test it just this moment until I can learn it later,

will using the pocketwatch speed up the movement of moves such as bullrun and jump? ; aka moves the move the character though it is said to just increase the running speed which is still all the while useful.

No, only a run speed increment.
