So a friend and I decided to try some deer hunting today as we are both not too confident to be able to take one solo, and we are mostly just using club and uppercut attacks. We down our first deer and I notice a scent popped up - uh oh. It turns out it was from me (points to my claim) and I guess I missed the deer once and hit my buddy... we even had the combat thing pop up and had to click the sword to turn it into olive branch.
Then we thought maybe if we party up together it wont happen - and we do so and find our next deer and again a new scent, also from me. So I guess being in a party doesnt help =\
But the weird thing is there were times that he hit me too, but there was never a scent left by him. It is only when I hit him.
I realize that I got rights of Englishman recently but he didn't, so is that why my attacks on him are leaving scents, but his attacks on me are not? This got us thinking how potentially you can have a group of high bile characters go and beat down someone and not leave any scents as long as they never learned the skill rights of Englishmen, and then have some cheap murder alt who isnt all that great bile or anything but does have cain and abel and murders the KO'd guy, and then thats the only scent that is left. Is that what would happen? Is that intended?
Anyway, I guess there is no way to work together with someone and not leave scents for accidental hits?
And what does this scent mean for me who left it, can I get killed now if someone stumbles on them and tracks my claim?
