is there a way to buy The Pioneer Package and receive it on the inventory?

I find a nice place I'd like to claim, but If I had to go to town to get the package there's no point

You have to get it from the post master in town:

Build a leanto (need hiking skill), right click it to make it your homestead, stand near it and adventure>travel>...to Boston, talk to post master to recieve package, adventure>travel>...to homestead.

And there you have it, you just teleported to town to take care of business and back to the location you didn't wnt to leave in the first place. Success!

Thanks, I knew about the Lean-to, but I'm some 2-3 skills away from it, this would be a good opportunity to skip steps. I'm not finishing these skills today, so I thought I could just make a quick settling with monies.

You can always dump your inventory and port back to boston. Are your current items worth more in time than the time you would save with the free skills?
