Houses and Decay

Postby Monohan » Thu Nov 15, 2012 1:30 am

Hi again, I got two more questions.

I recently started to dry rabbit skin, however when I came to my old homstead (near my claim and contains some equipment) one of my drying racks had disappeared (it had 2 skins on it)? any ideas? that rack was max 2 days old, could it have decayed fully already?

My second question involves housing? I recently set up a claim and was wondering what the benefits were to building the hovel? Should I be building one as soon as possible?

Unless it was under your claim then it decayed.

You can build cabinets in them and a stove. they are nice to hide away stuff. people usually won't go in them fearing to be trapped inside.

Is there any difference between decay inside houses and decay on claimed land?

Best reason to build houses: For storing whole animal corpses because they will never decay.

Leantos and sleds also provide this function atm :)
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.
