where to keep silver?

Better keep on inventory or under the Lean-to container?

Much better on your character -- first priority is to buy a coin purse (5 silver at the NPC shop in Boston) and equip it on your character -- when silver is in your coin purse it doesn't drop if you are Knocked Out and have to teleport to your homestead without your inventory.

I didn't know that coin purse did that... doesn't say on wiki or in description... so many secrets in this game...

Honestly the best place to keep silver is on a character you wont be logging on unless you need to spend silver
