I survived a encounter with a rattler now I'm poisoned! I'm slowly living off my blackberries in this pine forest, if I stay alive long enough will it go away or no? I don't know any players and don't want to die :s

Don't think it does, actually.

You could save money and try to buy some serum, or see if you can arrange something in town or on the forums, but otherwise you are dooooomed. Unless you know how to make rattler serum, and somehow get an Etterfang, and the Garlic (grown garlic, not wild.) Probably better just to take the loss and recover from there. At this point you don't have a lot to lose from KO'ing like that. You could of course, capitalize on the fact you don't suffer from Rattler poison any more than you already do, and pwn some snakes, because aside from the poison, they are "so weak rabbits kill them before succumbing" and you could probably maintain well enough to kill as many as you wanted, store that, and THEN Ko.

You won't actually die, only KO. So, make a leanto or go back to yours if it's near, and put your valuables in containers. Then, after you KO, you can pick them back up from the containers and probably the ground too if you were near your homestead. You'll lose a little proficiencies, but that's a lot better than trying to go to town to buy antivenom and then passing out there and getting looted. I've seen that happen several times when people panic.
