What is it..? What does it do..? And what's the differense between the crossed swords icon and the sword and feather/fan-thing icon?..?

X swords means both sides are argo to each other. You can kick the X swords to make the sword and leaf which means that the other side wants to deagro and clicking it will drop.

The crossed swords means you are engaged with your opponent, and the other icon means you are trying to disengage. Both parties need to be disengaged before combat will end.

Dunno if it works, I just have a habit of hitting it in the event that I am trying to get away from a creature.
