Can I abandon a claimed land and claim a new one?

I'm thinking because I just started but created a lot of things on the land where I started, yet its not going to be my definitve place.
Can I claim it and later abandond it and claim a new one in other part?

You can own as many personal claims as you want.
And you can change homesteads when you are at the claim stone
