How do i mine

This question seems really dumb but here goes...
I have a mine, burned pile of branches
Can't shovel wall.

Ok so my brain tells me you need a pick for hard stone, the game says i need a pick
The stalls say i need 700 silver

Is the barrier to entry 700 silver ? Or am i doing it very wrong

You need a pickaxe to mine a walll as an axe or shovel no longer work. You also no longer need to burn piles of wood on mine walls to mine them unless its black rock. And you could always buy an iron pick from another player for cheaper.

Damn i must be tired, it's only like 10 posts down, sorry for not looking harder i just put in a 14 hour salem grind o.o
