Couple of questions from a noob?

How do we obtain ores? Do we mine or buy from merchant?

Also how do we buy from other players? How do we know who selling what etc?

Last but not least where do we find Lime?

Please let me know.

1. You need to build mine and... mine. Some tiles will have different look. And thats ore vein. Mining from those tiles will give you boulders with metal ore (iron/copper/silver). http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Mine_Entrance
2. PM them on forums, u can check who is buying what on viewforum.php?f=21 . OR try luck in game... trading itself is rather easy. Mett in providence, go to nearest barrel and trade goods. And yes - u can be scammed easily, check trader raputation.

1. You may have to buy your first nails and iron from an NPC merchant after you save up enough money.

2.You can buy and trade with other players in the marketplace in the barrels. there are many barrel thieves so it's hard. you can pm traders on the forum area for trade. They are much more likely to not scam you.

3. Try and prospect for a mine near a lime pit, it's much easier to mine that way. You can always haul lime boulders back to your mine or base but it takes longer that way.
