argopelters dissapear?

Hi, i was hunting some argopelters today and when i stomped them, they dissapeared after a while even though still alive ?

IF you are not quick enough to kill them then they disappear. You shouldn't use stomp but thrust. Just wait for them to pick a tree. Go in front and thrust as they come. Then repeat if you can't OS them.

If a pelter has a hard time finding a tree it just leaves, this usually happens if they are blocked or if there are no trees close to them.
