Can't sell Bubbly Soap?

I can't sell Bubbly Soap in Providence for 50s, but it shows up on the stall. I click the soap and nothing happens. What gives?

I searched on forums, didn't find anything. Wiki doesn't say either less I'm blind, :P

If you study it a certain amount of times it no longer becomes sellable iirc.
