Is it possible to delete a character?
I found out that i couldnt transport to my alts homestead unless it was the first settlement location (seems weird to me) and becasue there is no large map that i know of i couldnt walk to my alts homestead so i need to delete a char that i am not going to be using anymore.
Any advice always welcome :~)

There wasn't free alt delete service.You may pay Mr. Puggles 150s to kill youself.
Nowadays you may follow : Get your char diseased,leave it online for a long time,disease will kill you char.
