Diseased?

Hello everyone, I am completely knew to the entire Salem game. A buddy recently invited me to play it and so far it's pretty awesome. My question is how do you get rid of diseases? Puking every 4 seconds is just frustrating.

check which sympton is most common either puking, coughing, headaches or getting dizzy , in your case it seems to be puking, and use the appropriate medicine. You could also PM Sky-Cardis, he is doing doctor work for free.

Each disease seems to have a primary symptom with the other symptom randomly mixed in, because of RNG this can some times make the disease hard to identify early on but as the disease progresses you should be able to identify it.

primary symptom dizziness, disease Land Legs, cured by Smelling Salts

primary symptom coughing, disease Big Pox, cured by Willowbark Tonic

primary symptom headache, disease Maroon Fever, cured by Leeching

primary symptom vomiting, disease Frontier Flux, cured by Columbine Paste

Thus if you are pukeing a lot you likely have Frontier Flux, you make the paste using this: http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... bine_Paste . It sometimes takes a few doses to cure an illness, so far it would seem that the earlier you catch it the less doses you need.

I can meet you in the main town and give you a dose to help you out ^.^ All those sickies can make staying healthy tricky

I'll be honest I really have no idea where I'm at or what I'm doing, right now I'm in the middle of no where, how do I get to the main town?

you know the leanto you spawned with (the leafy structure) go stand in that, you should have a pointer leading to it. Next look in the lower right cornor for a button called 'Adventure' click that,
'Travel'
'...to Providence'

that will take you to the main down, but only from your homestead (currently thats your leanto). You can get back to your leanto by following the same instructions but instead clicking '...home', you can do this anywhere within Providence's claim . Its a good idea to drag and drop these buttons to your hot bar for easy use.

This game is really not easy for new players, these forums and this wiki: http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Main_Page help a lot, even for long time players. This situation should be changing in a few months once the tutorial section of the game has been added to the game but if you can push through the inital difficalty I am sure you will find a home here Just remember, be careful and dont be too trusting.

I'm not puking anymore, it just looks like I'm having a hard time standing up every 4 seconds, I think it's dizziness

That would be Land Legs and require smelling salts, give me a sec and I can get the cure to you. Im fairly easy to spot in town, with a plauge mask and a paintbrush in hand, red hair and a brown coon hat.

just buy/make some of each cure and start eating them until it goes away, if you listen to these newbs you will be ***** your guts out all week.
