Crime (wanted) debuff bugged?

Postby bradcodos » Sun Oct 26, 2014 7:24 am

Rundown:

I recently committed larceny on an already raided Private claim, and after only trespassing and checking some of the left over boxes I received the crime debuff for 14 days, I didn't think much of this since I'm a newer player and just thought that was traditional and would be reduced by walking away (what it's description said), so I kept at it, increasing my stacks of crime, but the duration didn't change at all (14 days). I managed to get everything i wanted, only because I was able to eat food even though i had the debuff...

So now, almost 2 days later it still says 14 days. This debuff doesn't seem to be doing anything to me? (I can eat, teleport and even log out?!) but it does not allow me to change my HS location, which is precisely why i am writing this topic, as new players we are setting up walls and my leanto is in the way, halting production, I can destroy the leanto I think, but to my understanding that would allow people, if they find my scents to just summon me up wherever they want right?

I've tried walking away from my base, getting rid of anything stolen from my inventory/character and walking away, tping to boston with no stolen goods and walking even further away, and no matter what i do the stacks and duration don't seem to be changing (re-logging did nothing either). Soo, is this abnormal or am I missing something? has anyone experienced this before? and is there a solution?

thank you!

Edit: Just realised there is a Bugs and technicalities section in the forum, my bad!

Yes, if you left (summonable scents) then don't destroy your leanto. All the information given if you hover your mouse over the crime is invalid, its how it used to be. Right now it should be gone after 14 days no matter what your distance and such.

Your crime should indeed be down to 13 days atleast according to your story. Give it another day and then move it to the bug section.
