Argos do have this weird thing where they walk towards you, and will follow you forever and ever and ever. Usually the best thing to do is let them aggro you and run into a clearing where they can't reach you from any tree, eventually they spaz out and despawn.
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.

I have had a snake do it also weird I logged out for many hours and its not here anymore

The best way to finish ensafe you from a snake bite is to go on shallow water - it can't move to the water anyhow
