Stumps stopped providing...

For one of my chars , tree stumps stopped spawning stuff... I have opened at least 250, all empty. how can this be fixed ?

Stumps don't make things upon opening them, they make things over time. As a result, you are either in a place that somebody has been through and picked everything, or a place nobody has been to in so long the stumps have not actually spawned anything yet.

Its random, but once you load the stump it could be a second, could be a week. So I would still check them as you run by but in most cases you are better to just keep wandering and find an area other players may have wandered by hours ago but never collected anything from.

You could be in the darkness where it is rare to find items in stumps. At least that is the case for me.
