making a hole in a makshift fence (mine)

built a loverly makeshift fence a while ago but now i want to cut a hole in it to open a new gate for my next ring of defences
press destroy and put the pointer in the middle of the panel i want to remove but nothing happens what am i doing wrong or what levels of bile do i need

You should be able to destroy a shift fence from the start with 5 phlegm.

It might be because you are not good in line, try it a few time from a different position. Once your command gets broken/blocked it will be interrupted, and you have to do it again.

Phlem is used to destroy things. I am not sure how high it has to be to destroy makeshift fence but it is rather low so you should be able to see some damage with 15 phlem or even less. Make sure you click when you place the pointer on the wall segment your trying to destroy and that you have a clear path to the wall segment.
Oh and dont let your phlem drop under minimum required (5 as Juda says).

makeshift fences don't have any soak, you can damage them with 0.5 phlegm. Just not very much.
You will need to heal up during destruction if you only have 5 phlegm, but it's still not too hard.

Try clicking the fence itself instead of the middle of the tile.

Sometimes it helps to zoom in all the way with your camera and then click the fence.
