Hi, I'm back playing salem after a long break... (inspired by Tonkyhonk's newspaper )
Back when last I played (several months ago) I could stomp crickets to death with 5yb. Now it does not seem to stun (or damage) them at all... what am I doing wrong?

The way stomp worked changed a bit, it now aggro's whatever is in range of it when you activate it. Chances are, the crickets are tossing a quick attack at you to interrupt the stomp and it's actually not even finishing.

Just uppercut them, or punch if it's all you've got. It's still doable at 5yb/5b, but it's a little riskier.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Guard, Punch/UC, wait for them to stop running around randomly, repeat.

Well yay, I managed to kill a bunny 
I love the way the animals dance around (and hte way punching takes a long time & is based on direction) - makes hunting a *little* skill-related I guess, rather than just a stat check. Same for PVP, movement combat is back in a better way
So attacks interrupt stomp, or do they interrupt everything?
