Does the element of food still matter or is it just purity now? Like I remember i only used one or 2 wheat elements for the best stuff, is it still the case?

So far all foods i managed to get have only one outcome, though they used to have one different outcome for each element they hit, is this not the case anymore?

Just purity. But you need to keep an eye on the ingredients elements to get the best outcome.

So basically the alchemical composition of a food does not influence gluttony events directly, only indirectly through purity?

So if i was to make everything i grow say for example mercury element that would be the easiest way, so i dont mix elements and lower purity?

Aye that is right. Id go with the elements of the highest purity water you have access to.
