Purity with ovens and smelters

Postby _Gunnar » Thu Mar 06, 2014 6:50 pm

Hi

I thought I'd better ask this, since I'm sure other people have tested it already. What affects the output purity of things like metal, pies etc - does the material that the smelter/oven is made of give some of its purity to the product, as in Haven? Does the fuel purity come into it?

Thanks a lot!

As far as I know, the purity of materials and fuels for smelters, stoves and ovens does not influence the final output. However, it has been noted in a couple threads that materials for pots and cauldrons do have an effect. I am not sure about Alchemy equipment (does it affect process speed??).

I hope this information is sufficient and accurate, Corrections or additions encouraged.

Yes it does, but since most alchemy equipment uses a lot of glass, there isn't much room to improve that purity.
