random bb drain?

Twice in 3 days I've noticed that suddenly my bb just starts draining out. Today after assassinating a bear I suddenly keeled over, I had over 40 bb left after the fight then boom, while walking home I just fall over with an empty bb meter.. And 2 nights ago while standing around Boston I suddenly realize I was down to 40 bb and it was draining out at about .4 per 10... And I didn't have anything on like foraging or anything... The only way I've found to fix it so far is to log out and back in. So to summarize it up as a question... Wtf?

Bears can cast fear on you. Fear drains your BB over time, there should be a fear icon in top left corner of the screen when you are frightened. Thats probably what was the reason for your BB drain.

That I get, although I was under the impression that the drain stopped when the bear dies. The one in Boston is mostly what caused this post, I would have shrugged it off and said "hmm, ok?". But one of my friends told me they had the same thing happen recently, that's actually where I got the idea to log out and back in.

bear fear debuff will most definitely continue after the bear dies (possibly illogically so, but meh).
It is often more dangerous than the bear itself, especially after a prolonged fight.

As kand said. The fear debuff will persist through the bear's death. You should be able to tell by just looking at the icon under your profile.
