hey all new here had spare time from playing dota 2 and foudn this game read some of the mechanics and not bad gonna give it a try.

anything in particular i should avoid? or any politics i should be aware of?

The map is so large you can easily play for months without ever meeting or caring about the Tribe. Assuming you settle somewhere far from them. On the other hand, if you like the way they do things, by all means go and settle near them and/or try to join them.
You could settle near them and not join them.

You could also spend your days in boston naked, acting like a crazy person.

Isn't the sandbox genre beautiful.

Although I have occasionally danced in the breeze "Au Naturel", I'd like defend myself by saying, "Which one of us hasn't run around Boston in the buff for fun?" I think we can all answer that we have. It's liberating and almost all new players try it for fun. As for my screaming and name calling I hope you understand that I'm dealing with some split personality issues and that I'm just letting off steam. The Tribal Elders have me working 12 hours a day on Salem and I'm starting to hallucinate. You can probably tell how my posting has deteriorated over the last year. Please bear with me as I deal with these issues. I apologize if it angers you in any way.
