Tribal Healing and Community Relations

Postby neored9 » Wed Jun 04, 2014 2:32 am

I want to take a moment to express some common concerns and sentiments from a tribal perspective about recent events with the intention of fostering a better relationship with the community for the betterment of Providence.

I'm what you could considered the most junior of Braves. But in my short time with the Tribe I have experienced much hate and mistreatment for upholding the Treaty. I call this "Brave shaming". This ranges from literal hate speech against the tribe, claims of "alt killing" (a phenomenon that confounds all Braves) to dubious and poorly cited counts of injustice. If these things were said about feminism or democrats, hate mongers like Jalpha would be in prison right now.

There has been a lot of talk about the Tribe's reputation. The Tribe is The premiere justice force and hero of Providence, this reputation is unquestioned. Sadly though, as many criminals would say Batman sucks, we have many criminal saying similar about the tribe. Nothing else to discuss.

Now the heart of the matter and stepping out of role playing. "The Tribe is Killing Salem". Good. Jorb has forsaken the game and left the world to us. Death to everyone from server shutdown is a fair price for the hate and venom cast so mercilessly on the tribe.

I'm fine with that. But it's not healing and it's not growth. Salem is beautiful little game with great potential. Now if you want to sea that everyone who has ever said anything negative about the tribe has to sign the treaty and make a video apology. Jorb must erect a Native American or similar statue in Boston, sign the treaty, and document forty hours per week of work on Salem or sign all rights over to someone who will. And Claeyt must no longer post on the forums, speaking of Claeyt.

This next part of my sermon is entitled "What Claeyt did".

Has he seemed more up in arms lately, crying more than usual, even dumber than typical about recent events? Yes, you'd undoubtedly answer. Why? I'll tell you.

Claeyt lead Mikus to the herd of new players. CLAEYT, THROUGH HIS OWN STUPIDITY GOT EVERYONE OF THOSE PLAYERS KILLED. Chatting away in Boston for hours, helping all the wonderful little noobs, he told everyone who would listen about Salem's savoir, some Youtube nobody with a pitiful 10,00 followers. That's right, revealing their location and stream to the masses. Even so bold as to tell Mikus which way out of Boston they were.

Claeyt, face of the rebellion and speaker for the common Salem player, what do you have to say in your defense?

I will be collecting donations in Boston for MIkus's heroism, our goal is 1,000 silver or a snake skull (he really likes those) add the HS Badger&Blade

A person with Asperger syndrome may have trouble understanding the emotions of other people, and the subtle messages sent by facial expression, eye contact and body language are often missed or misinterpreted. Because of this, people with Asperger syndrome might be perceived as being egotistical, selfish or uncaring.

I do hope you're not actually serious with this. Unless you have direct evidence against Claeyt, all you're doing is spouting utter crap to try and shame someone you don't like. Mikus' heroism for killing innocent people? If your own story is true, and Claeyt lead him to us, why did Mikus' killing us become heroism? And as far as I think Jorb is concerned, considering he has to deal with the likes of the Tribe, he has two options; wipe all characters entirely to restart the game to put everybody on equal ground, or quit working on it. I honestly don't know why he hasn't shut the game down yet, unless the Tribe is the only people paying for the thing, in which case hes really catering to you lot alone to keep your little party going.

I don't even know how people like you exist, and, especially after how dumb you acted when I came along into the forums, how anybody in their right mind can even believe you unless they are as much of a sheep as you are.

Good day to you sir.

Honestly? I hope other people excuse my language but...I wouldn't apologize if I was paid in more money than what Bill Gates has. You and Mikus are so low even the scum of the earth look down on you and think little of you.

In short; ***** you sir, the only thing I'll do for you is point you in the direction of a doctor to get a lobotomy. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll only speak to people, not unthinking idiots whose only goal in life is to troll people on the internet at any cost whatsoever.

Well, the Tribe probably has so many alts and possibly even different accounts, so I don't think much could be done about it besides resetting it. I know if I was Jorb and this was my game I'd quit working on it, otherwise I'd be pulling my hair out.

Well then I have no ideas on how to fix this besides stuff I doubt Jorb or mods would ever want to do unless they actually get back into actively working on the game.
