When one realizes the mistakes they've made, they become defensive. I doubt when you woke up this morning and started killing all those poor newbies you knew that it would turn out you'd be having a larger effect on the game than you intended, but such is life. Personally if you had the balls to at least admit what you did indeed caused players to write this game off completely I'd be ok with that, as being sorry might be too much to ask.
