I log in less and less lately, but it has little to do with Gluttony or Inspiration. Yes, the new systems for Gluttony and Inspiration did slow me down leveling my character and learning skills, but in the end that only really gave me more time to hunt, forage, look for a good base site, start building that base, and do all the chores required when running a settlement.
The problem is, now that my farmer has more than 50 humors (I won't say how much more), it doesn't really Need more. More Gluttony now is fairly pointless. Now that I have all the skills, there are no skills left to get, so that aspect of the game is gone. You might say, "Make another character", but I did. I've reached what I consider the end of the development of two farmer characters and it doesn't seem fun to make yet another backup right now.
There are still chores to do around the base, but how much iron do you need when you can only build a few braziers? Board piles mature SOOOOO slowly and require so much space, all the things I need to do with Dry Boards etc are throttled back to accommodate how many piles I can safely fit on my claim while I wait and wait for my material. And hunting and foraging and even farming are only good for a few hours of play time a week, at least for me.
I would have more to do if I made a raiding character, sure. Need higher humors, meaning a need for more hunting, foraging, and a Lot more intense farming, but why? Raiding sucks right now.
So, I'd say the throttled character development didn't actually decrease my play time at all as I always found other things to do while waiting for those timers to wear off, it's the lack of content and things to do once the character has reached a certain point that has slowed me down. We need more inspirationals to hoard, animals to raise, orchard trees, more animals to hunt, some decorative items to craft (hanging stuff on walls and wallpaper is a fair start) to make our houses less empty, honeybees, working alchemy with a more significant purity grind that Can slowly increase purity over time. As it is, I've about reached the point where I'm going finish building my base, look around and say "Well... I'm done, guess I won Salem", and pretty much stop logging in.

TL;DR I'm less active now, not because of throttled character development, but because now that my main character and it's backup are fairly developed, and the base almost complete to my satisfaction (which happens too fast), there's little left to do.
