Hello guys,

I have just been killed. After 3 weeks of work/salem cycle. It hurts, yes :). It was for no apparent reason tough, i was just a hermit trying to be good and all. Anyhow, how can i find who killed me ? I mean, my friend searched for scents but nothing came up. Also, how to avoid being killed, can anyone give me tips ?

Thanks,

Maybe start with how you was actually killed? Murder always leaves a scent and if you have the tracking skills you can track the perpetrator.

Okay, a couple assumptions I can make from this

- You didn't have adequate defences, i.e. walls, gates.
- Your using the default client

Make sure you inherit your claim when creating a new character, this should give you ownership of that claim.

You can inherit your claim. When you create a new character there should be now a new NPC, who offers you inheritance of lost property (claim or leanto).
To see scents you have to toggle tracking (it is in adventure sub-menu). More often than not it only starts working after you leave your area and than enter it again.
Sorry for your loss, try building braiziers next time. One braizier and a stone hedge are more than enough to guarantee your safety at the moment.

He stole from you. Every crime leaves evidence with some you can summon him. But I doubt you will be able to do anything to him. If he have a base that is protected you cant touch him.
