Looking for Hardcore Permadeath Game

The end of the last world has awoken the Evil Queen. Once again, I am craving the enjoyment of killing toons with a smile on my face. I will no longer be labeled as the care bear of any game. For this reason, I must seek a new hardcore permadeath game since Salem is moving away from this idea with its new mechanics.

The gluttony system was supposed to be improved with this almighty patch. In my opinion, I would rather have the old system. Placing a time limit on when a toon is able to glutton is inefficient. For those of us who work or have a life, we can only glutton once or twice at the most per day. At this rate, maybe a titan toon can be created in six months. This new system caters to the people who don’t work or have a life. Yes, you know who you are. Playing Salem 24/7 unaware what is happening outside the walls of your room.

The skill leveling is another issue I have. Having a certain amount of points to use to skill up is agonizing. Having to craft items or gathering items is bad enough but now being limited as to how much can be studied. What were you guys thinking? How is a toon suppose earn the murder skill if they are only able to level a couple times a day with the current point restrictions? Oh sure, some have done this already but I can assure you they are the people I spoke of in the above paragraph. You guys need to get a life.

Then we have the players who think this game is a social paradise. You are the ones in town that will kin everyone in sight. You want to be everyone’s friend even if they are the enemy in noob clothes. I had enough with accepting kin requests. This is not the place to create another facebook atmosphere. This is marketed as a player vs. player game people.
The player vs. player aspect of this game is no longer what it used to be. In the old world, I would be in Boston to see the winner of a battle bringing back the prize of a dead corpse. Now we are lucky if we see any skeletons in the game. I used to look forward to reading about the battles on the forums. All I read now is a player infiltrates a village. They secretly gain the trust of their unsuspecting village mates. Then one day, parties their buddies to lead them to the village. The village defenses are no longer working since the person is in a party. Not only that, they are allowed to walk in the gates. By that time anyone realizes what is happening, it is too late. How can you call this player vs player? What happened to the gladiators of the old world? Challenging each other to a duel to the death then following through.

So I ask you Salem community, your opinions on a new game for me. I am looking for a game where player vs. player is the real deal. Also, I would like to hear your opinions on the issue I brought forth. I am hoping this post can make the player vs. player come alive again in Salem. If so, watch out, for the Evil Queen might decide to stay.

No, no Queen. There is no good replacement for Salem, why do you think I am no-living Tribalwars right now ?

Yep. Only being able to glutton once or twice a day should not be a problem. I don't like the inspiration either, but at least it's less of a thing once you've improved your bb enough.

I'd like to see improvements to the town permissions system/ party system to make infiltration less of a thing. It should always be a major concern, but this is too much. Eg a town permission enabling town members to 'share permissions with party' and the option to do this in a party by right clicking party members would be an improvement. Legit raiding should be made more feasible, instead of it so often being safer and easier to just infiltrate someone.

I love you Evil Queen, plz don't leave :(

Oh Tamassin, my master. You have unleashed the evilness in me. I don't want to leave but there is no real excitement here. I want to grow into a titan and take people out again. I can only thank you for showing me the way.

It might be because I already did everything 100 times, or it might be because the ***** new system sucks.

No ***** seriously, if you plant a tree with 10% water in a 7% pot the outcome is 31.00 element, even when you'll be able to make them 10% in 2 years, then the humus outcome will be around 5-6%.

Raiding is ***** impossible with the current mechanics, making less braziers is better THE *****. Normally you keep playing a game because the future looks bright, right now in Salem its not worth it to keep playing and wasting all the precious time.

Most of this is very true: http://forum.salemthegame.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9022&start=220#p119911

I am not to familiar with the raiding aspect. But how do the braziers work different from the old world?
