Is it good enough

Is the game worth putting time into again or should I just keep waiting?

There are a lot of mixed feelings about it. Read through the comments on the announcement thread, and/or try it yourself to find out if it's "worth putting time into again" for you.

Darwoth's thread also has quite a bit of player reaction to the update.

The game is MUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH better now.

Now you got to think about what you eat and what you study. No longer can you just spam and spam and you'll be alright. You have to plan in advance.

It's not like it was easy before they changed purity. It was just that you didn't have to do anything to keep your stuff high purity and afaik they still haven't changed that so once you get higher purity stuff it will be just as easy as before.

It feels alot less grindy, now you actually humour, study while building base/doing other activites.
In w1 it used to be about Digging lime/flattening land every day...

I agree with Greb! As for your question.. It is so worth it and so nice to see all the new players. The new wardrobe is a plus too. I am saving for the prospector hat.. :D

I think death hurts now. Obviously pr0 players probably just have 10 murder alts instead of one murderer sqrt(10) as good, but it still takes a while to replace each one.

I think thats probably a good thing.

Also, early game is the most fun, and this stretches it out.
