Hello everyone. I am new to the game. It's amazing thus far. I've only been playing for a couple of days now, and still learning the ropes of how everything works. Lost my original homestead: how I'm not sure, it was there when I logged out the night before last, then today (well now yesterday) when I logged back in, it was gone (I tried teleporting back from Boston, where I had logged out at and it came up on the screen and said I had no homestead), but I am currently working on getting a new homestead set-up like my old one (in a dif location this time).

Are there any other players out there that has started and belong to a town? Looking to join up with some other friendly players who help each other out to survive.

Ah, I take it the towns at the beginning are the list of servers? If so, then I chose Boston.

When you clicked on the "boat" when you were making your character. The right choice was "plymouth".

The 3 servers are Plymouth, Roanoke, and Jamestown. Boston is the generic name for capital town in each.
If you live on Plymouth make sure you understand the Tribe:http://forum.salemthegame.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3163(You will have a choice pay the tribe and play farmville or hide under a rock while they hunt you.)
On Roanoke make sure you understand the Candy Gang and its recent changes.
On Jamestown get a claim, build a wall, and find out if anyone controls the area you live in.

ah ok, I didn't know that Boston was just the generic name for the capital town. I don't remember the name of the one I chose, but when it shown the three, I picked the one at the very top.

That was probably Plymouth, make sure you understand what you are getting into before you spend too much time on that server.
