Well im not one to jump off a sinking ship instantly but i think its fair to say that salem if firmly laying on the bottom of the Ocean and so i think it is time for me to say good bye.

Jorb & loftar,
Your game.. Well well what can i say, over 2 years ago i was enticed by hide behinds, witches, horses and brooms (the 4 major reasons i was interested in your game along with crafting, perma death and sandbox). I personally taught salem would turn into my "casual retirement game" which i could play forever a few hours in the evening for the rest of my life and it would be amazing, Im sure i even made this comment on your facebook once upon a time(2 years ago or so, or on paradox salem FB), yet the vid and comments you made over 2 years ago materialized into nothing like the game we have today, totally the opposite infact, your game took a wrong turn time and time again.

I feel you have let yourselves down more than your community, as you failed to live up to almost all of your goals which you set out, or things you had on the agenda you wanted to implement, but nothing ever seemed to come, Your lack of Drive to inform your community on development clearly shows your lack of interest in salem. It seems (Unsure if true, but from my perspective of following your game for almost 24 months) this game is/was nothing more than a scam for income from paradox, and now is a worthless side project which i feel will almost never ever be finished, and if/when it does get finished, it will be way too late.

However, i would still like to say, Salem has kept my attention longer than any other game in my 15 years of online gaming, I was hyper for 12+ months during development, i played for about 9 months solid, and even after i stopped playing i have been around the forums for more months. Salem IS the best game i have ever played, and considering its pure lack of updates, pure lack of content, lack of EVERYTHING, 9 months of game play is still shocking to say the least. I had really hoped you had poured your heart and soul into this game, because if you did, you could have had something truly amazing.

Still, I would love to say thank you both, for this amazing game, for the experience i have had, for the friends i have made why i was here, nothing will ever be forgotten.

Well as to the community, it has been a pleasure, it has been fun, we had some good times, we had some bad.

A word of advice for this whole community. Do not under estimate MM, alot People find them a joke, yet with all due respect Chief is very smart man(Very friendly, nice and more, i have no bad words to say about him, he is a genuine nice guy), His influence on Roanoak and Jamestown is hugely hidden, In its current state, With all do seriousness he could wipe out any town on any server with ease. He has access to more resources, accounts, titans than you can dream of, do not take him lightly by any means. Im not saying this to try and scare people, the thing is, if you want to continue to play this game, you should be scared, he has recently officially announced his targets on Roanoak, and my advise is, play The game by his rules, or you will not be playing the game at all. Plymouth is a prime example how he can make this happen.

It was a pleasure knowing you all, meeting you all, and much much more.

Take care, maybe one day i will swing by and see whats happening, but with all do honesty im not expecting much.

Good bye Salem.

i am having lots of fun, you could be to if.....

you were the epitomy of american greatness and independence such as myself.

had not gotten into a fight over rust with your candy gang friends that you need to be successful in the game.

or AFTER getting into said fight with them being to raged out to think anything through enough to actually damage them.

did they kill your character? if not log in game and do something instead of logging on the forums to ***** about being unable to think of anything to do.

Or it could be simply that the game sucks in it's current state.
