to get to the truth all you have to do is look at their other games, paradox is a carebear company putting out mostly themepark ****. the writing was on the wall as soon as they distanced salem from themselves by kicking us all off of their forums for not being "friendly" enough and then STILL having to stick their noses in by appointing ***** paradox staff like totallymoo to meddle with the forums.
good example is back when the pop was 10x what it is now and the boards were being over moderated i made a poll asking if folks would be interested in an unmoderated third party forum where they could say what they want, thread was deleted, i was banned for a week and got a bunch of PMs saying i was "threatening paradox interests" by suggesting a fansite and that i would be permabanned from the forums if i continued
anyhow paradox was out of their element with this game and probably would be with any pvp game, you can tell by his response that if they had their way there would not be any pvp in the game, much less permadeath. retards obviously have no experience with their own games so they probably played haven for a day 5 years ago and though they were going to get a farmville clone, you know as per their slogan "salem: the crafting mmo"
