Since Salem is a job, an idea for RMT (Entropia Universe)

My Delicious Eloi,
You know an MMO is bad when chinese gold sellers are like " eh, there's no profit in that."
Just an idea since this is basically the most grind intensive game on the market, is to make silver a whole lot harder to come by, and introduce a way to exchange silver to dollars.
We already have dollars to silver. I think an "Entropia Universe" style would work very well for this game.
I mean hey, If I'm going to get carpal tunnel syndrome, and this game is going to forever be a small niche of players (poison shrooms for new players lol!)
We might as well get payed for doing it. ¦]

Thoughts? Has anyone played Entropia Universe?

I play PE - c.k.a. PU... however;

Salem's professional noob (new influx of actually paying customers) grinders will take money out of the game twice as fast, if not faster.

Personally I believe that some of Salem's "no-lifer's" should not be paid ontop of the dammage they cause to the moneymaking plan.

I say, bad idea.

I paused heavy participation in EU to relax a bit and test Salem. You just reminded me to log back in and check prices etc. Thanks.

On topic of RCE (real cash economy) I have to say I spent A LOT of time exploring and understanding different aspects of such a system (in-depth). I even made custom graphic applications to track and analyse different aspects of game world and economy. At a glimpse it seems simple but its not. Its not just very complex and demanding to properly plan and implement but also ends up very rigidly constraining game dynamics. Once two-way money system comes into being that becomes sole dynamic of a game and starts luring very specific clientele. It sounds exciting but has heavy drawbacks. IMO not a good idea for any game developer who doesnt want to accept absolutely rigid constraints such a mechanic dictates.

Don't even joke about that. Seriously, it is a bannable offense.

I wouldn't be able to help myself from robbing everyone I saw and selling their silver, if for no other reason than posting pictures of stacks of ill-gotten bills in their rage threads.
