It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

I would have no problem getting 30% of the S&C lvl as plenty, but getting 70%-80% of the time plain ZERO is *****, less RNG would work much better.
This way it just makes you feel you invested a lot for nothing.

Actually I realized, I did invest a lot for nothing, it was more random plenty before the patch that made lvling easier, now they tuned it down (in a stupid way) to cope with the more easier skill raising.
But they messed up purity and didnt think of it,
so its in fact now harder to raise skill lvls up very high,
but you get less for it.

Next time, please think first and then implement it.

Thanks!

yes sure these same guys have 600+ stats! they are overpowered they can destroy walls easy and take what you want. this all wass from that 99% purity things they was farming... now time has changed. having 100+ stacks and cultivars was a long way for me so i want at least someting like 30%to-90% not like i get 0-20% 4/5 times

Are you sure it wasn't the 100% purity things they were farming, or maybe the 98% had something to do with it too?

After raising SnC a bit higher, it becomes ridiculous.

Having 220 SnC, and still getting ZERO 20% of the time is just silly.

It looks like it evens out at about 1/3 of the SnC lvl overall, which makes it pointless to raise higher after a certain lvl, yet, one would assume that if the distribution of result numbers is somehow based on a solid formula, at least zero as a result should get less, the higher your skill is.

Apparently, devs aren't good in math.

My theory is that the rnd number doesn't pick a number from 0 to s/c. It picks a number between about negative 0.5 S/C and S/C. Then it takes the absolute value of that. So, you're twice as likely to get a low roll. Of course that doesn't explain so very many 0s. Whatever it does, everyone has noticed that it doesn't pick fairly. The numbers are definitely weighted heavily to the lower end.
