WTF is up with the graphics? Looks like was drawn with pastels - those trees appear to be spraypaint creations from Paintbrush.

Why do people play this game?

*fixed for you.

In all seriousness, if you think graphics > gameplay then you're definitely playing the wrong game.

I have all kinds of hopes for the eventual release and success for Salem, but there's something about the simplicity along with deep grind (not just shallow make-work like Farmville) that has kept me at it off and on for nearly 3 years now. I, like many others, quit because the lag just got too horrendous. I understand things have cleared up, though, so I might have to start playing again. Not sure I can give up on the deeper mechanics of Salem, though. On the other hand, I'm not sure I want to dedicate myself to developing characters in the game when there's a few severely flawed mechanics that just don't have time to be fixed.

Fear not;

"Deep Grind Implemented"

(in the form of purity).

Come on, are you really going to compare the graphics of Salem, with those of HnH
HnH graphics look older than some of Salem's players, It's hard to believe that only 6 years separate them in development.
Salem is at least better in the graphics department. Game mechanics, you may have an argument. :lol:

I honestly prefer the look of haven to salem. Might just be because i find the characters in salem to be horribly ugly.
