Professions of Love

Postby Tylan » Thu Feb 14, 2013 2:44 pm

Has there been a pilgrim roaming about your neighborhood who you think causes the leaves of the maple tree to abandon their branches? Is there a forum-goer who makes the Singing Old Log sing? Are you tired of allowing your inhibitions to hold back the full, powerful throbbing pulse of your affection? Fear no more, citizens, for today is Valentine's Day!

Now, before you go busying yourself with posts about how this is a day made by card companies to stimulate their own naughty bits, take a moment and enjoy the festivities by admitting your feelings! When Cupid's strung arrow is loosed to our hearts, we are but slaves to the magnetic force of love. Embrace it, friends! Embrace and enjoy.

Warning: Embracing and enjoying may lead to the docking of genitals.

I have not because there arent any women on the forums I have met.
It is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9/NIV

I am a proud Christian, post this if you are proud to be one too.

I'm not sure what that has to do with love, but I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for eventually!

I am a man, that's what it has to do with love. And I am sure I will find it eventually.

I was originally planning to find myself a lady tonight and have a good time, but you've convinced me to step off that path Tylan.

Will you be my new date? <3
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

You had me at "Totaly."

I hope you like Hellish Halibut and romantic walks on the beach.

Oh boy, do I?

I hope you like waking up in a fully purple colored attic with one very confused (and drunk) seagull trying to body paint you. Don't be scared if the purple paint magically disappears from the various areas it originally covers as the seagull, his name is Janet by the way, covers you in rainbows and love. That's usually how my dates end.

CharlesM was a man quite grave
And so man-loving he could not waive.
Although hetero-aligned
His posts were inclined
To praise one particular Brave.

Agreeing with someone doesn't mean I chose to be homosexual. I am straight so don't imply otherwise I find it offensive.

I love your decision to love women, CharlesM. I love women too. The above limerick was intended as a joke. You're acting a little serious for a City upon the Hill thread. Maybe this will cheer you up?

In case anyone else reads some kind of nonsensical homosexual implication in the above rendering, that moment was completely platonic. I don't even know who the guy on the left is. Or the guy on the right. But they look pretty happy to me :)
